One side of this bottle was flattened, so it could be laid down horizontally. It was thrown on a potter&rsquo;s wheel and fired in an upright position. The clay body is revealed on the foot rim without any signs of using kiln spurs. This bottle is cylindrical in form with a small hole on one side and a mouth on upper part of the body. It is decorated with an orchid design. The trademark &ldquo;Ingu (人久)&rdquo; is incised on the upper surface. This bottle was used by Japanese as a household object.<br />
